I HAD MY SHOWER YESTERDAY!!!!!! with pics (VERY long)
Here's how it started:
FH took me to dinner Friday night. After being there 20 minutes I saw my dad & his wife across the restaurant just being seated. They had a girl with them but her back was towards me. I told John I am getting up to go see my dad & he kept telling me to wait till we are done eating. I said ok.
Five minutes later I see my dad walking towards me with a girl, I was like NO THIS CAN'T BE...OH MY GOD, it was my bridesmaid from California Debbie!! She flew in to surprise me for my shower. I never expected her too especially since she JUST had knee surgery. My dad & his wife took her for dinner since she only had crackers on the plane.
When I saw her I was shocked (John said I almost had the same look on my face as when he proposed to me, he knew she was there & thats why he tried to keep me seated but they brought her over).
I cried my eyes out. I still can't believe she was here.
My shower was Saturday at Giardino's in Little Neck. Even though I knew it was my shower, I was so nervous walking in & so overwhelmed to see all the presents & the people!
We played Bridal Bingo, Dress the bride and how well do you know your mate.
I got SOOO many gifts. I got everything off both registries except my vacuum & coffee maker. People bought from other places & some bought but didn't remove it off the registry since they thought I was registry peeking. I got some duplicates too. My house is so filled with gifts I can't see my spare bedroom anymore! I had the most amazing day!
John sent a bouquet of flowers to me there and the card read:
Jennifer, I can't wait to spend my everyday with you. I Love You, John.

My MOH made my an all occasion basket with things for every holiday of the year & sunflower lollipops since they are my favorite flower:
My mom made me an awesome honeymoon basket with lingerie, wedding bears, candles, champagne etc.
Bow bo-k to use at my rehearsal. I did NOT want a hat!
