Princess Bridals in Farmingdale?

Has anyone had a good experience ordering their dress from this store?

No. I felt like they did not know anything about bridal gowns! I kept asking them to show me a certain style of dress and they showed me about 6 dresses. NOne of which what I was asking for. I asked for certain style, and the lady said 'I've never heard of that' When every other bridal store knew what I was talking about. I had my BM to vouch for me. It was a scary situation!

I went there. They were very mean and I've heard nothing but bad things about them. Sorry :)

First place I went and was turned off by the older ladies attitudes.

Okay, I am sure I am going to hear it for this, I HATE THAT PLACE. I have never ever had a good experience there. A few years ago I ordered a dress for New Years from them, they altered it soooooooooo badly that it fell apart on me at the event. Then a friend used them for her wedding, much to my chagrin, and it was just a disaster. They wouldn't let me sign off on the size and the dress was once again too big and not altered correctly. Lastly, my mom wanted to go there for my dress, I figured what the heck, they completely ignored us for half an hour and when I said something the girl said 'Tough, come back another time.'

I ordered my dress from there & have had MAJOR reservations about them...... I went ther b/c they altered my friends dress & she is a, um, well....difficult size. I figured if they could make hers look good..... anyway, I have been fightinwith them from day one & now it is too late b/c they already have my dress & my BP.

My friend got married last June and I Was in the wedding. She got her gown there and all of the girls and they were sooooooooooooooooo nasty to deal with. they knew absolutely nothing about bridal gowns and they were so rude. Their faciility is horrible as well-NO PARKING And where you get your alterations done is horrible-i swear the room is 5x5, it's so small and uncomfortable. so do yourself a favor and heed these warnings-i don't mean to sound so 'violent' but i just had a horrible experience with them and it was not pleasant to deal with them.

Went with FSIL fr her gown and the lady was so nasty and she didn't know what she was doing. The dress didn't fit and she didn't even TRY to pin it in the back(or whatever they use) and she had a puss on the whole time! Me and hr other BM had to go in the back and pick out dresses!!!

One word sums up my experience there.... horrible.

Nope, the lady who helped me smelled like alcohol and you can't even browse the dresses. They are all wrapped up like they are on hold for someone. I had about 10-15 pictures of dresses I liked and every single on the lady gave me was completely opposite and horrific. Stay away - stay far away!

I try to be fair with vendors that I didn't like and how I post the information on this board as some girls may have booked with them.

But this place.... Let me just say I was ready to slap the woman who was talking to me when we first walked in. And my mother vowed to never step foot in that place ever again.

I ordered my dress there and am on my last fitting. I ordered my dress before hearing all the horror stories, however, I have to say I guess so far I've been lucky. They are always pleasant and helpful to me. I got scared about all the stories (one coming from my bridesmaid from another experience with them) that I had them go to Bridal Gardens in Bethpage for their dresses. There I found my dress for $200 less. If you're in that area - - I would stick to Bridal Gardens - - they are more helpful, friendlier and their prices are cheaper.

I went there twice to look for a dress. The first time the lady was nasty and didn't show me anything that I asked for. She looked annoyed that she had to help me!! I found i dress I liked and asked her who the designer was because the tag was cut out. . . she said she was sure and then we asked fora price she said 'under a 1,000 but she wasn't sure' I found it on line for about 500
Ok. . .so I thought it was me . .I figured she was having a bad day . I went back a second time. . .same thing . . .she tried to be nicer but it didn't help she was still nasty. I found another dreess I liked and the tags were cut off again and she told me it was a Jasmine and I can't find it anywhere. .So I think she lied to me. . . I would stay away

i can't believe the consensus of opinion. pretty evident we are all talking about the same woman here! i don't know how they stay in business! BRIDAL GARDEN is great and it's so close to my house-it's great! I am planning on going there for hte BM dresses! colette is really nice there and helpful!

I second BRIDAL GARDEN!! I am getting my dress, my BM dresses and FG dresses from there. My dress was $150 less there than another place I saw it at and they are nice there. Although sometimes Colette bothers me because she seemed to be annoyed but maybe she was having a bad day.
