I ordered my dress a while back and while I loved it, it is beautiful, striking, unique etc, I didn't feel completely at peace with it. I would go through periodic panic attacks because I wondered if it was definitely 'the one.' A week ago I came across another dress on the internet that made my mouth drop, it was the same designer as my original dress but much more traditional and even a bit princessy (in a sophisticated Grace Kelly way not in a Cinderella Disney way). It was exactly what I always pictured myself in but totally different from what I had ordered. Long story short (I know, I know..it's too late) I went to try it on today and it is absolutely amazing. It is the dress for me!!! I finally know what it feels like to be at peace with my decision.

The waist area of this dress has a really pretty quilted pattern but it shows up funny in photos (that was one of my concerns).

When I ordered my dress I had ample time before I needed the order to be placed so although I put the deposit down and it was a done deal I had asked the bridal salon to hold off because I wanted to be remeasured in a few months (I have been losing weight). So changing the dress was not an issue because the salon hadn't put the order through yet and the new dress is from the same designer anyway.
