Ok the cake is important to me, i don't know i just love the way a pretty cake looks...So post pics of cakes, especially ones you are considering. Lets see your ideas girls
this is our cake, but with a few changes being made...
1) the flowers will be in shades of light pink 2) no fondant ribbon 3) sugar sea elements will be tucked into the flower beds (e.g., starfish, sand dollars, etc. made of sugar) 4) the cake will have buttercream frosting instead of fondant
we actually just got three sketches of wedding cakes from the person we are using, but i'm almost positive that the above described one is what we're going with!

ETA: I really like the detailing and ribbon and would like to incorporate that in my cake!

Melanie-bring it to a baker and tell them what you want, they can modify the cake

I think those are some very unique and fun cakes!! I love the colors!
I haven't even thought of a cake design yet. I do like the square cakes though, I think they're cute.

Wow..those are some creative looking cakes.
yeah 3 out of the 4 are colette peters, she does such beautiful unique cakes
