hello. i am having my wedding at atlantis marine world and i am trying to coordinate a beachy type theme. check out these centerpieces that my fh and i made and let me know which one you like best. we might add a ribbon around the first one if we used that one. we got all the supplies super cheap at walmart. each one would cost less than $10 to make. thanks! ~lacey
Wow! You did an awesome job! Definitely getting the beach vibe!
Where would you put the ribbon?

Re: centerpieces
Both are great! Love 'em. If I had to chose one, I'd pick the first. But if you can't chose, why not alternate them on the tables!

Re: centerpieces
Wow those came out great! I like the second one and the first one. I can't decide! I like the way the candle sits higher on the second one but I like the way the water and crystals look in the first one. They are both cool!

Re: centerpieces
I like them both. why not use both? really are all center pieces exactly the same at any wedding? There are always slight variations.

Re: centerpieces
thanks! i guess i can use different ones...i'm liking that idea. walmart had all sorts of glass shapes, too, so i can experiment some more. they were so cheap there compared to ac moore and joanne's. walmart's were like $3-5 and the craft stores were like $10-20. ridiculous. so centerpieces usually variate from one another? i don't know these things, i have only been to 1 wedding and i was like 11 at the time lol. thanks again for your thoughts! ~lacey

Re: centerpieces
I like the second one. The other one doesn't show the other shells to much. I like the one candle because its very simple. You can really enjoy the whole piece, not jut the candles.

Re: centerpieces
I like #2, but would alternate between 1 and 2 on every other table.
Another idea I love if you like a beach/water theme; add a beta fish in the water.
My FH is in the wedding business and I saw that and that's awesome

Re: centerpieces
thanks you all for your opinions! i was worried they might be on the cheesy side, but no more worries! i will most likely alternate between designs. i might stop by walmart again today and pick up other glass containers, like the hurricane glass or the large champagne glass and experiment some more! question: where do the wedding favors go? on the tables or on their own special table? bc i might get champagne glasses with gel candle and shells in it as favors, and they would look cute arranged around a large champagne glass centerpiece on the tables! ~lacey
