O absolutely love these. i wanted to make one for my FSIL bridal shower but are they becoming popular ay weddings? Will my RH make this instead of a cake for me?

Yeah they are so popular now! At first I was like no I have to have a tradiational wedding cake but now I'm leaning towards the cup cakes. They look so pretty and I think its a fun alternative! Also I like being able to switch up the flavors!

definitely becoming really popular at weddings... the great thing is you can have different flavors so everyone can have something they love.

I love them too! I mentioned to FH and he said he would have to see pictures, so I'm glad this topic was added b/c I was going to inquire myself. We are already doing a cocktail reception (i.e., cocktail hour all night long), so he doesn't want to be too different, but he doesn't eat cake anyway!!

i think my RH has an option to have them make you a cupcake wedding cake. i think i remember seeing it in the book.

I should have more pics somewhere!! I saw this awhile ago and loved the idea but wasn't really thinking that far in advanced. Then I saw girls posting them on the BHB board and I was like wow! Those are soooo nice!
ETA: There was a whole cupcake bio on theknot.com and none of the pictures are loading!

I think that my Fiance would love these as his birthday cakes. He loves dessert...although you couldnt tell by his body. God if I ate like him I would be rolling down the aisle.
Do you think that these are easy to make?

im glad u girls like them!! i love them and so does FH. im going to be calling my RH to ask if they will do it instead of the cake since FH and i dont eat cake we HATE the fillings and stuff so were really excited for this!
