Ordering BM dresses online?

Ordering BM dresses online?

My bridesmaid dress is $60 cheaper on some of the bridal websites, like www.houseofbrides.com. Has anyone ever done this?? Should I worry about the color being different?

I would call the store that you are planning or planned on ordering the BM dresses from and see if they can match the price - I know that I got the best price (lower than the internet) from Burtons - Alot of girls have used them and got a great price..

Im so skeptical about ordering online...i like having a person to deal with rather than a website...also a lot of bridal salons won't touch dresses bought online to do alterations..something to think about!

DONT order from house of brides, maybe other sites but all the reviews of house of brides that ive seen on LIW have ALL been HORRIBLE. Many had so many problems with them.

I suggest trying rk bridal. If you do their no frills program you get the dress for alot less. My bm dresses were about $258 and we got them for $186 with no frills. WIth the no frills program you wont get your dress altered there, you take it to wherever you want. The dress doesnt even have to be delivered to RK bridal, we had it delivered to a friends house. So my girls saved a decent amount of money. MOH saved even more, her dress was also about the same price and hers was almost $170. So were talking about $80-100 off each dress. Plus since we had it shipped to one of the bm's house in NJ we weren't charged tax.

Its very easy process, some people ahead of time think that they dont want to go through a process but there really is no process. I felt the same way and said 'ahhh i'd rather it be easy then deal with stuff' but when you go to rk bridal, each bm dress has a price tag but with 2 prices on it. The front side is what the dress will cost you if you get it the regular way, and the back of the tag is what you pay if you do their no frills program. WHen you see just how much they can save then its hard to say not to do it. They have an order sheet for each designer. You are given 1 sheet. On that sheet you put the style #, color, and how many dresses you are ordering and the size of each dress. Theres also the designers size chart on that sheet. Then at the bottom is your CC info to put on there and thats it. You can fill it out then and there and give it to them or fax them the sheet. SO basically thats all you have to do is fill out a sheet of paper.

the great thing about RK bridal is that they also do price match and match it by 5% lower. So if you find the dress for even lower than what you would pay through their no frills program, you bring in proof of this and they will lower it by 5% lower than what you brought in.

I did NOT like House of Brides. I did order from them because they were cheaper but now I am still stuck with the dresses that I got. Because they took so long, and I could not cancel my order with them. And their customer service is AWFUL!!! I changed my BM dresses and ordered them online for Davids. What a great place to order from. Everything worked out perfect! If you want you can check out my album the dresses that I bought from HOB are still in there. At this point I am trying to sell 6 of them for $50 each, they are black, if you or know anyone that may be interested. GL!
