Locations for indoor photos???

I'm trying to figure out a good, indoor location to take my wedding photos for my early March wedding in Nassau county. I was going to take them at the EAB building, but my photographer was told that the building was sold and pictures are no longer allowed there. I'm looking for maybe a historical place or even a building with a nice atrium. The reception hall is ok for some, but not all. Any ideas???? I'm afraid it will be too cold or wet outside.....

Thanks!

I think you can get a permit to get them taken at Old Westbury Gardens, in the mansion.

We took them at EAB last year. I'd double check that you can't take pictures there anymore. Why would they do that? It was free money for them!

edited to say: I did a little poking around and it looks like your photgrapher is right! I would do a search on indoor photo locations. The ladies on this site have used a lot of really great places.

I searched around and to be honest - the only two places that were options were the Vanderbilt mansion and Old Westbury Gardens for indoor photos. Vanderbilt was having a wedding so we booked Old Westbury. I would have went with Vanderbilt because it was a little less expensive.

It's a little pricey but totally worth it to guarantee nice photo's IMHO and I'm getting married in September. It rained on my FH's brother's wedding and they took pic's at the hall - we don't really have that option.

Good Luck!
