where are you guys in the planning right now? I havent done much except get the RH, Photo and DJ.

In the middle of dress shopping now and have been very unsuccessful.

I only got the RH and florist booked. I will book photo/video next. Iam in the process of visiting photo, then will come the church and DJ. Limos and invites can wait.

Sorry about your dress shopping, I will start looking for gowns in June.

Need to do florist and dress shopping. I plan on starting in June for dress shopping!

Went to Lilettes, RK Bridal, Davids. the problem is the lace and beading doesn't look good on me. Simple straight lines look best...but with that type of simplicity, im finding it hard to be 'wowed' with a dress. im heading to kleinfelds next week. i want to order my dress in June.....so i still have some time to search.

Have you gone to Bridal Reflections? THey have nice dresses too. I will be going to the Bridal Salon of Manhasset, then to the Amsale flagship store then to Klenfelds, I like to shop around. I am very picky with everything so I hope I find the one

Why did you guys pick June? Did that month have a special significance? For me, FH and I were both born in JUne and we always wanted a June wedding. I wanted the 7th bec thats when my parents got married or mid June but my hall didnt have the dates available, only JUly and May, I said I will take the first of the month

Yea same here! Also because FH is in school in May and we wanted to be able to go on our honeyroom right after!

Wow thats so weird the same thing happened to me. I wasnt into lace or beading because I have very plain taste but the plain dresses were 'too plain' and had no wow factor for me. I finally found my dress though so don't get discouraged. It is simple but still has that wow factor I was looking for all along. i have pics in my album- it looks sooooo much better in person, in white, and on me

Aww thank you! It is really much simplier in person- it looks more 'trendy' in the pic but in diamond white and when its not shiny it is much more elegant looking. Good luck I know you will find your dress. It's out there just dont settle!
