where are you guys in the planning right now? I havent done much except get the RH, Photo and DJ.

In the middle of dress shopping now and have been very unsuccessful.

Right now, well my mom bought my dress & veil on Sat.

Completing our STD packets,

Booking the officant.

then it's all about planning our Soon to be ____ Soiree (our July party where we ask the BP formally) which I've been neglecting, task include, the invites, finalize menu, the BP newsletters & the gifts for them.

Why did you guys pick June? Did that month have a special significance? For me, FH and I were both born in JUne and we always wanted a June wedding. I wanted the 7th bec thats when my parents got married or mid June but my hall didnt have the dates available, only JUly and May, I said I will take the first of the month

My FH picked the date , is the only aspect that mattered to him. He wanted a Sat. Night in June Wedding, & the 7th is the first Sat. Plus we love the date

I was hoping a June thread would start soon.. Thanks for taking the initiative!!!

I have RH, the church (but not the time - DRAMA!!!) Photo/video is done. I am looking into DJ's and dresses next week.

There really is no significance in our date. Both FH and my bdays are in December, so didn't want a winter wedding. I wanted to get presents at a diferent time of year. We got lucky with June!!!

We have the Church, RH, Photo/Video Book. We are in the process of booking the DJ. Dress shopping not yet just have been looking at websites and magz.

Why we picked June. I always wanted a June wedding. Orignally i thought June 9 was a sun so that would be our 4 yr 4 month anniversary lol but leap yr screwed it all up lol. Since i was not going to have a mon night wedding June 8th was going to have to do lol.

YAY!! I finally found a date twin!! I was wondering when a June 08 thread was gonna start

I dont have a date twinnnnnnnnnnnnnn

I have church, RH, DJ, blocked rooms at the hotel for our OOT guests. I am in the process of signing our contract with our photographer as well...
Next is florist and dress shopping...

We chose early June because FH is a soccer coach and its the only time of year in nice weather that he could be away for some time....
Plus I love June and the spring so it worked out for me as well!

Have you girls asked your Bridal Party yet? The only people we asked were the people who definately knew they were in it, my sis, his sis and my bestfriend.

For those of you that are Greek i also asked my cousin and her husband to be our koumbari and their son as our ring bearer. Since it is such an expense we figured we should ask early.

As for anyone else we havent done that. I think we will make our final decision when i am ready to go bridesmaid dress shopping.
