how does that work for those of you who did that? who went in the limo? who had to drive themselves there? how big of a limo? TIA

My friend is doing one limo but having the limo make 3 trips from the hotel. First trip is for the parents of groom and the groom. Second is bridesmaids and groomsmen. And third is bride and her parents.

we are getting a 10 passenger limo, since the girls are staying 1 mile from the RH it didnt make sense to get 2 limos, so the limo will pick up the guys & drop them @ the RH, then pick up the girls & drop us.

We had one limo! We all stayed at the hotel which was really close to the RH. We had a 10 or 12 person limo (when the limo was at max we had 4 BMs, 2 FG's, Me and My Mom). The guys were picked up first, then the limo came back and took the ladies.

They'll do it, it's wherever you want them to go for the time you have them. We almost did the same thing, but the hotel is a bit further from the ceremony, so it wasn't feasible . . .

That is a good idea. We are about 20 mins away. But the smallest limo pacjkage (besides just drop off) is 3 hours anyway. So minds well take advantage of it...LOL! After they drop the bridal party off we can have them go back and start shuttling out fo town guests there.... Hows that for being cheap

we had one limo. it was a 14 passenger excursion
the limo picked up the boys at the hotel....dropped them off. then picked up myself, my parents, and the girls and dropped us off.
the BP and stuff had arranged their transportation and such with friends and family after the reception. DH and i were going to just have a pick-up/drop off from the hall by ourselvs--but our limo company was VERY nice to send a 14 passenger limo for us! so we wound up taking 2 OOT friends who were staying at the hotel--my MIL, and BIL and his wife with my DH. otherwise they would have gotten a ride with other friends/family.
it really isn't too hard to work out---just have to get some friends or family to work with ya in helping get the BP back to their transportation.

BTW... Did anyone find good deals on limos?? I cant find my research. I had found a 3 hour package for 1 limo for about $350. And they included free drop off of bride and grom at the end of the night... in a town car though... no limo. Anyone get good deals they want to share???

We did one limo. In the morning the guys and family just drove on there own and car pooled. We also had a large van for guests without cars that went to and from the hotel. The limo took all of the BMs, MOH, Bride and Flower girl from the hotel (we all stayed at the same one). On the way home the limo just took me and my DH. The girls all went home with there sig. others at the end of the night.

We did this. Me, my mom, and my BM took the limo from my house where we got ready to the RH. DH and the guys drove themselves, they were at a hotel a few minutes away. Worked out great.
