SO my FH is totally in love with this resort 'Rosewood Mayakoba'. Its in Mexico about 35 minutes south of cancun. Don't get me wrong I think its beautiful! You get to your suite via boat service because all the rooms are built over lagoons. They have huge rooms with rooftop sun decks and private pools, im just concerned because its brand spanking new and there arent enough reviews about it. Should we me adventurous and just go for it (FH wants to book like now) or wait a few months? the website is www.rosewoodmayakoba.com and i have pics below. Tell me what you think
OMG ITS incredible looooking. Im gonna show this to FH

Re: Honey Moon Option...
WOW does look amazing...have you tried trip advisor maybe theres something on it.
Ask a TA about it, usually they have info bc many of them go visit the places and hear info on new places

looks awesome! but i totally get what you're saying. like any new company, a brand new hotel will be working out kinks for a year or so before they get everything just right. I see your reservations, but listen to your gut. sometimes just waiting a few months will make you more confident in your decison.

We have been STALKING trip advisor they have all been pretty good with the excpetion of one really complaining guy. But the do point out most of my concerns i want 5 star service not people who are training to be 5 star. My FH says by december they will have worked out all the bugs, but im a little worried. I want the honey moon to be perfect.
ALSO the rooms are selling out quick! we called over the weekend and were told there were only 15 rooms left in our class available for the 11 days we want. they have 32 rooms of that size!

the fairmont looks good too. Another reason i wanna wait is because they are opening a Madarin Oriental there next month and a few others, like Banyan Tree which is really popular in asia and the south pacific, and Viceroy. I want to make sure we choose the right one.

Re: Honey Moon Option...
OMG!! That place looks amazing. I thought FH and I had a honeymoon resort chosen already. but if i show him this he might change his mind. we dont have anything booked yet just waiting to hear from my TA.
But this place looks amazing. I am a little skeptical to book because it is only open for a little amount of time. But we are both getting married in Dec and that is still 11 months away plenty of time for people to review it . but like you said you want to book soon since things are booking up! I am going on my honeymoon dec 26th through jan 3 so i want to book quickly because that is prime time for vacation!
