YAY we picked bridesmaids dresses

Ok went today to RK bridal to get BM dresses...my MOH ended up getting one a bit different but they are VERY similar, at first all the girls liked one dress and MOH liked the other so i was like your the MOH why are we even discussing this just get the one you like hahaha...I LOVE the dresses. The only thing i feel so horrible about is that my cousin who is bigger i can tell wasn't too comfortable with the choice i asked her a couple of times and she said well i prefer the brown one(another one we tried) but if everybody likes this one im not gonna expect everybody to change it bc of me. I think shes worried bc of the fact that the one BM who tried it on, tried on a size that was even a size smaller for her so on her it was skin tight so she probably so my friend who was thinner and seeing even on her it was skintight. I saw the pic of the dress on the site so i know its not that tight...She did feel better when i told her it comes with a sash, the sash was missing at the store...I just really don't want her to feel uncomfortable

now with the BM dresses, the first pic is how it fits and the second pic is how the top is to this dress but this dress also has straps...this dress will be in frappuccino with chocolate brown sash

I feel bad about your cousin... maybe you can find it in anoher store in a larger size so that she can also try it on. I'm sure it's going to look beautiful on her though!

im sure your cousin will be fne.. but i know how you feel because iw as in a simialr situation with my cousin. i basically picked the dress around her so she would be comfortable

well the lady at the store said that the designer of the dress they only send the samples in those sizes so who knows...i just spoke to her now again and told her to remember that the girl tried it in a smaller size so its not going to be skin tight like that, plus she said she feels better that theres a sash...She did start a diet recently and last time she had lost weight but put it on back again the past few months so we'll see.

i was thinking of maybe ordering the dress she liked for her and her sister bc its my two cousins that are bigger, the other cousin worked until 7:30 so she didn't get to come today to try it on...i am doing the no frills program at RK so she'll just tell me what size to order for her. But would it look weird to have the moh in one dress 5 bms in another and then 2 in a different one?

oh so them im sure she will be ok. that was the hardest part of looking for a dress - they dont carry all different sizes in dresses.. that was one thing i liked about Davids bridal they had several different sizes in each dress.

I love them. My girls have the same dress just b/w.

I'm sure she'll look great in it, I don't think she has anything to worry about.. plus she'll get it altered to be comfortable for her.

Congrats again though, the dresses are amazing and the color choice is very elegant!! The MOH dress is different yet very similar.. it will all look great together!

yeah they only had 1 sample of each dress and all of them were mostly an 8 or a 10. She only tried on one dress that was bigger, the one she liked, so thats the thing she is thinking of the fact that it was closer to her size so thats why she was more comfortable...i also said she can wear a pashmina bc she asked me before, and i have no problem with that.

Honestly, I wouldn't even bother doing that. Your cousins can get them altered how they like.. if they don't want it as tight on the hips then they don't have to.. I wouldn't do 3 different dresses though. Just let them alter them however they want.

CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Big check off the list... Love the look of the MOH & BM dresses... Great choices! If it's going to bother her and be on your mind she (cousin) won't feel comfortable... then order the 2 different dresses. Seems like this designer/ your choices all 'go together' so I think that would look nice... That's what I did. Actually, all girls have different dresses & MOH does not have straps (only one). Everyone is very happy & I am releived! RK Bridal is great too- glad you went there

Honestly, I would even bother doing that. Your cousins can get them altered how they like.. if they don't want it as tight on the hips then they don't have to.. I wouldn't do 3 different dresses though. Just let them alter them however they want.

yeah im even gonna tell them to maybe order it one size bigger and have it taken just a little bit so this way its not form fitting.
