Terrible Vendor Experience (BM Dresses) *UPDATE*

Hey ladies! I am the kind of person that rarely gets upset about things. Please take that into consideration when reading this post.

After a few friends of mine raved about an online website that they got their bridesmaid dresses off of, I had to check it out. Low and behold, the bridesmaid dresses that I wanted my BMs to have were 50% off! I was SO excited over this deal and the fact that I knew a few people that had great experiences with this site. I ordered them in the beginning of June, and they said to allow 10-16 weeks to ship.

Guess what? It's been waaaay past 10-16 weeks, and I'm still not receiving any answers from the company. I called once again yesterday, and the associate said that they'll arrive at my house in 2 weeks. When I asked her how she got that timeline, she said 'I don't know, it just seems like that is reasonable.' Is it too much to ask NOT to pull an estimated date out of your ***? I don't think so. She gave me an e-mail address to a manager since the manager wasn't at the store at that time. When I e-mailed the manager a very professional e-mail (I had several people read it over before I sent it), she e-mailed me back right away and said that I'll receive my dresses sometime in December because it's in the 'December pile.'

My wedding is January 2nd.

Needless to say, I am screwed when it comes to this. I am fighting tooth and nail to get a refund, but I am afraid that I am going to just have to shell out extra money that I don't have to buy my BMs new dresses :(.

**UPDATE: I tried calling one last time to speak to the supervisor/owner, and they told me that the owners have a policy not to talk to customers on phone--only by e-mail. That was 100% the last straw. Thanks for giving me the advice to call my credit card company. They are taking care of it now (thank the LORD!). I don't know why I did not think of that myself. My BMs already picked out a fun and appropriate dress from White House Black Market. All will hopefully be well if my credit card company makes things happen!

that is completely unacceptable.... im assuming you used a credit card to pay for it... i would contact them.. and tell them that you never recieved anything in the time they said you would.... and see if they can get your money back... i would look at Davids Bridal if you need dresses before Jan 2.

ABSOLUTELY call the credit card company. I had to do this a few weeks ago for something I ordered online that just never came and they didn't give me a hard time at all. In fact it was removed immediately. GL!!!

I'm really sorry to hear this. The credit card idea is good advice. ALSO, check out anne taylor and jcrew, they have quick turnaround with bridesmaid dresses!
