what was your something old,new etc

Something old & borrowed was an antique gold necklace with pearls from my daughter. (it was a gift to her)

Something blue - I had several: 2 garters - 1 light blue & 1 dark blue with Yankee Logo. My veil had roses in the lace along the edge & in the center of each of the roses was a blue pearl.

Something New: My Dress, Veil etc.

is it bad that I didn't exactly follow this?

I didn't have something old or blue! It was supposed to be my grandmother's garter, but it was so uncomfortable and tight on my leg I didn't put it on that morning!

New- my dress
Borrowed- my grandmother's rosary

Old- Me
New- Dress
Borrowed- ??
Blue- Underwear- They were so cute, they were blue and had a boy and girl kissing!!

Old/Borrowed: My mom's garter, mil's garter, mom's lace bag for cards.

New: Dress, veil...

Blue: My garters - 1 to keep, 1 to throw (yes, I wore 4 garters, what a PITA that was!)

Something old: Handkerchief from FMIL, it was given to her at my fiance's baptismal

Something new: My dress, shoes, etc. Plus my dad & stepmom surprised me with a beatiful diamond necklace to wear.

Something borrowed: Badgley Mischka clutch from my friend

Something blue: Blue topaz tennis braclet given to me by mom to wear

OLD: I wore one grandma's wedding band (this is also borrowed because she is still living) and I wore my other grandmothers engagement ring (borrowed as well, but from my mom because grandma is not alive & my mom has her mother in laws ring)

NEW: An american flag beaded purse that a friend bought for me!!

BLUE: my sapphire blue toenails & the blue in my red white & blue shoes!!

Something old: panty hose
new: my bridal gown
borrowed: bridal jewelry
blue: blue garter

OLD - My Grandmother's handkerchief
NEW - Dress
BORROWED - My slip was my sister in law's
BLUE - My undies (a gift from my mom)

Old and Borrowed: earrings and purse my mom wore for her wedding
New: dress and shoes
Blue: garter

Old: My grandma’s wedding band, and a hankie and money bag made from my MILs wedding dress
New: Diamond necklace that DH gave me the morning of the wedding
Borrowed: I wore the bra that my SIL wore for her wedding
Blue: Undies and garter

old: um, was supposed to wear my mom's wedding band tucked into my bra but now that I think about it, I dont' think I did. I can't remember if my sister gave it to me or not, now..eek. So...we'll say (sorry dad) my dad was my old. I hope he won't mind!

***Edited: I remembered I wore it on my pinky....phew!

new: my dress/jewelry

borrowed: cousin's hankie (sh!t, I wonder where it is too)

blue: well was supposed to be my garter but it came loose and fell off in the limo before the wedding.

Not good at traditions, am I?

Old - a handkerchief from DH's deceased mom

New - my dress

Borrowed - my sister's money bag

Blue - my mom's confirmation pendant

old - my great-grandmothers diamond bracelet

new - dress and veil

borrowed - crenolin from my best friend and MOH

blue - pin with a bow and blue heart stone from my Mother, pinned to my crenolin.

Old: my e-ring was my grandmother's & a hankie that was my great-grandmother's

New: my dress

Borrowed: Didn't have anything!

Blue: my dress had blue beading. Rebecca from Favorite Things also gave me a crystal blue heart charm when I ordered my invites & I tied it to my bouquet.

They were cleaned, of course. Gotta save $$$ somewhere.

Old & borrowed were both my MIL's pearl necklace and my sisters wedding shoes
New was a bracelet my best friend got me ( plus the dress, tiara etc!)
blue was my 'just married' undies from VS!

Old: my moms aquamarine ring
Blue: same ring
New: dress, shoes, garter, veil, essentially everything
Borrowed: I borrowed a blue Venus razor from my BM that morning and I kept it with me (hidden) all day HA
