If you used ADA studios...

If you used ADA studios...

Did anyone add a photojournalist? I am concerned that they aren't the style I am looking for. I am happy with their traditional stuff, but love the creative pics I've seen in other studios. Please FM your thoughts if you used the photojournalist. (Was it worth the extra $?) Thanks!

My advice ( Am using ADA) but not the photjournalist , is to make sure you have a list of pics to be taken and ideas for 'candids'....having someone ( close relative) to oversee and 'remind' them helps...I have seen people hate their pics because they just sat back and assumed the photgrapher would 'get everything'..they just cant...If you are open and TELL them what you want and play a bigger part in it, you will get the photos you want. A friend who used ADA was very specific and her pics are some of the best I have ever seen ( but this goes for any photgrapher really)

we just spoke to ADA last night to finalize time, pictures etc. (we did not get a photojournalist) we flat out told him that we want slim to none of the posed shots. we have a very small wedding party so the formal pictures should take no longer than an hour (we are taking all the pictures before the wedding). we asked him to watch the bar, the deck outside, etc. i think he got the idea and if he didn't, fi and i will have no problem telling him next sun. he's seemed like a great guy and understood what we wanted so we will see......

They didn't mention it to me either but my fiance asked them if they offer a 2nd photographer that shoots only photojournalistic style and they said they do, so I was just inquiring if anyone had used them and if it was worth it...so don't sweat it if your interested in that then just give them a call

I used ADA and we did not have a photojournalist - we just did the photographer and personally if I had to do it again - I would spend the extra money and get the photojournalist too - we have nice pictures but they are all posed formal shots - not many candid 'lurker' shots like I wanted. JMO
