I ordered my dress!!!!
Hey Ladies, today was my 3rd day bridal dress shopping....today's appointment was at Flowerama's in Elmont. Hated it...was in and out in 20 minutes, just wasn't much of anything there, and the staff didn't really seem helpful at all...so then I decided let me give Bridal Reflections a shot, I called the location in Massapequa, and they weren't able to squeeze me in, but took down my # in the event one of their brides cancelled their apptmt. So I called the one in Carle Place, and they were so pleasant on the phone, managed to squeeze me in, I dealt with Candice....she was WONDERFUL! I told her I loved Eve of Milady, but the only ones that really worked for me was the A line cut. ....so she said I have the perfect dress in mind for you. So she brought me 2 to start with.....both were GORGEOUS in their own separate ways...to make a long story short, my mom, sister and MOH could not decide btwn the 2 at all. So I tried on a few more, and then we decided to try on the first two again.....the 2nd dress I tried, I put on first this time, with the I dunno what you call it, the hoop skirt thingy underneath, and when I came out I was falling in love, then she put the veil on me, and gave me a bouquet to hold, and had me march down an aisle to see how I feel, I fell more and more in love with it, and started crying!!! ![]()
I didn't even want to try on the other dress anymore, I was sold!!!! My MOH started crying with me, my mom and my sister aren't the emotional types, but just kept saying yes thats it!
Needless to say I ordered it today and knew my search was over. I was a bit hesitant about going to Bridal Reflections, from so many diff. reviews I've heard here, but I went with my gutt feeling, and just said this all feels right.
Kinda felt like it was faith, how they were able to squeeze me in....oddly enuff while I was at the Carle Place location, Massapequa called me to tell me they had an opening....obviously I didn't go...but I'm sooo thrilled!!!!!!!! I didn't want to take my dress off!!! Originally I didnt want a train that was attached,...this gown has an attached one, but Candice showed me what it will look like once the bustle is fixed to be lifted up after my 1st dance, and I loved it! I don't have a picture of the dress, but there is one on Eve of Milady's site that is very similar....just mine has a bit more work towards the bottom. It's a silk satin gown, and I ordered it in White Silk
