Re: dresses buying on the net?

Did anyone get their dress on bridesave.com or netbride.com?

I found 2 dresses that I liked there about 50% less than the price quoted to me at a salon.

Are these real dresses or immitations? Also, anyone know if they are reliable in terms of delivery, correct size, color, etc?

My BM's purchased their dresses from netbride. Five dresses in total - 4 were ordered months ago and came in a month earlier than netbride committed to. They were in perfect condition, sizes were all correct...they are very easy to work with. Netbride saved my BM's about $90-100 (depending on which quote I went with...and netbrde doesn't charge tax).

The 5th dress was ordered last minute and should arrive within the next couple of weeks.

They are an actual bridal salon that expanded to the internet a few years ago...I've only read positive things about them.

I ordered my Maggie Sottero from Bridesave. The dress had the Maggie tags in it and came with a certificate of authenticity from Maggie Sottero.

For my friends wedding we got the dresses from netbride and they were fine. Much cheaper and they came in a lot earlier than expected.

We ordered our BM dresses from www.HouseofBrides.com I found them to be the cheapest. Order 2 or more & free tax & S/H.
Also www.RKBridal.com
We ordered my MOH dresses from there. They give you 5% off the cheapest quote BUT they say they have to charge Tax in NY.(They honored the free S/H though. We still ended up paying 3.75% more b/c of the Tax.
I'd go with House of Brides. They at least give you a quote on line unlike the other sites.

Another satisfied bridesave customer! They were fantastic - sent me a picture of the beading on the dress I chose (I had not seen it in person), helped me with what flower & BM dress colors would match and helped me choose the correct size (and how to measure). Saved over $300 and it came over two weeks earlier than guaranteed.

I saved THOUSANDS on my Paula Varsalona through www.bridepower.com and like chicagogal, got a magnificent couture gown for a fraction of the price. Details are in my wedding review.
