Hi guys..i just wanted to share how great Trina was. She did the flowers for the bridal shower I threw for my MOH this past Saturday.
For those that don't remember me back in the day (im so old now), Im really critical and particular....but I was also on a budget. I was looking for something very chic and girly and looked expensive without actually costing a fortune.
Im so happy I found her. Everyone just loved the flowers.
I wish I could have used her for my wedding!
Oh and she even went out and made this high twig arrangement and spray painted it shades of pink for me...even though I asked for it just hours before the party!!
Stef--It looks AMAZING and, as everyone knows, pink is my fav color! Do you know what combo of roses she used for the centerpieces? Also, is that your handiwork on the 'table number' cards and those cute purses? The whole spread looks like something from a wedding magazine!!
ETA: Where did you find those table runners?

Thanks. I made the table runners.
She used a combinations of different garden roses in different colors and sizes.

I can not wait to use her for my wedding, I have to agree she is the best. On my first meeting with her she made a sample boquet for me to look at.

Yep, I forgot to add that she came out to Brooklyn even though this was a pretty small job and she is based in LI. And since I don't drive, that was such a huge help.
I think I drove her a little crazy with all my requests though..and she was so understanding.
I was originally going to make the flower arrangments myself but thank goodness I didn't b/c a) they would have never looked even a fraction as good and b) I had about an hour of sleep the whole week finishing up the other projects. I would have ended up with a really aweful looking mess!

OMG that is just beautiful i love the twig centerpiece idea??? Hmmmmm Ive met with trina a few times so far. I really have to book her now thanks for confirming that for me. Yeah.

What a lucky MOH you have! You look like you thew an absolutely fabulous shower.
I love the urns that she used for the centerpieces. Were they black or dark brown? I would love to find something like that and make a silk flower arrangement in it for my dining room.

Juliet: The urns were black plastic and Trina got those as well. They were great for this purpose and to keep costs down but you probably want something more substantial for your dining room table.
Thanks guys - I put so much effort into the shower and Im so happy everything worked out :D Trina was such a huge help I couldn't help letting everyone know. I had a terrible experience with my wedding florist so I was a little wary..but Im now converted..ahahha
