Anyone use a Tussy-Mussy with their bridal bo-ks?

FIL's are major antiquers.. and they bought this beautiful vintage tussy mussy and asked me if I wanted to use it for the wedding, and then all the women in the family will use in their weddings, and so on.

It is really beautiful.. but I am curious if it will limit the amount of flowers I can have in my bouqet, or even the type of flowers..

Anyone know anything about this? Thanks.

A friend of mine used one at her wedding and it was a pretty big bouquet. She had all types of flowers in there. I can't really answer your question but here's a pic of her bo-k. You can't see the tussy-mussy but it's there.

Thanks JB-- It's not like I really care so much about my bouquet-- it's more that I care if I may be limited or not..

I have another meeting with my florist next month, so I will just bring and we'll see what we can do! I did not want a majorly full bouquet anyway..

The tussy mussy does limit the amount of flowers that you can use. I used them only with the bridal party because I wanted a large bouquet for myself.

My friend used them at her wedding, but only for the BP. Here's the best pic I could find...

It definitely limits the # of flowers you can include. I think there is a way around it by getting the florist to destem each flower and replace it with a wire, etc...but would be much more labor intensive and would definitely leave your flowers wilting a lot faster.

But I think they are gorgeous.
