We were just approved for a good mortgage and have decided to take the plunge and look for a larger home.![]()
So, now I am putting my apartment on the market, but I would rather sell it myself instead of using a broker.
It's in Islip, in a very desirable development. It's a large first floor, one-bedroom with a living/dining room and efficiency kitchen. It has been completely renovated in the last 2.5 years - new bathroom, kitchen, hardwood floors (redone), ceiling fans, interior doors - and has a new 'trex' 6x12 deck that is less than a year old. I love it and had I not met my FH, I probably would have stayed in it forever.
I had an offer of $132,000 for it last year but wasn't ready to move, so that's the ball-park figure. I have loads of photos, so if anyone is interested or knows of someone who might be, please FM me.
