Anyone else an East Wind Summer 2006 bride???????

I am!! I am getting married the weekend before you! Outside of booking, I really haven't done much else. Currently looking for photographers which has been pretty time consuming. I decided to take recommendations from recently married friends, and some that I have heard on here. Others feel more comfortable booking vendors that EWind recommends. What photographer are you using???

I am an east wind bride as well...august. We haven't made the final choice for photo, dj, etc. I can tell you though, they will not be east wind vendors. I wasn't that impressed with them (the vendors) for my needs and the price.

Ditto that! The vendors didnt do anything for me neither....WE booked Ferlise Photo in levittown great package deal......Great work!

It just seems like a lot of the vendors charge more for their services then they are actually worth (hee..hee... welcome to the wonderful world of WEDDINGS). Their florist was nice, but that was really it.

Did u look into limos????? I scared to even find out what prices they want~!

I have a limo guy calling me from a bridal show @ east wind, driving me nutty!

Did not look into limos...I may not get one. We are having the ceremony at east wind so I think i could use the money elsewhere.

ETA: I hate when vendors harass like that. I actually will cross them off my list if they do that. It's annoying...let me call YOU, not the other way around.

East Wind also, but first weekend of April. The only house vendor we have gone with is Tommy's Tunes. Otherwise... Florist is Trina from Expressions, Photo/Video is Gary from Leli Photography and Video... both vendors on this website. We haven't done our limos yet, but will likely look at Ultimate Class and Royalty.

I am most likely booking Heart and Soul for my band...they are pretty expensive though.I have a hold on them for a week... Anybody hear good/ not so good things about them? Any info would help.

This may be dumb, but is it too early to book florist, photographer, video???

I did get my gown! I just loved it and couldnt wait! I got it at Adrienne's. : )

Never too early especially if you're picky about who you want. Summer is peak time, so if you have the means, you may as well book.

Right now we are searching for a photographer. I am just tackling one thing at a time, so I know nothing about florists, music, etc.


The dress search will start this summer when I loose some lbs.

Thats good news. I love the estate, but the chairs really do not do the room justice.

I saw the chairs, they are so much better for the room! I am excited.... I check this site way too often now, I am becoming obsessed with wedding planning!

WOW....Really??? That's sooo great, my FH didn't like the chairs either, i didnt really care as long as they were cushioned hahahaha...Man now i really want to see them.........In aug when i have my next hall payment I will pop in & see the chairs teehee...

I just started looking into video and photo... Im pretty sure we are going to book Timeless Treasures Video (vendor from this site) and Im pretty interested in Artie from Artistic Images for photo...I have heard great things about him and his prices...

I do not have a picture, but if anyone went (or goes downstairs at the inn to do their booking....they were there...The are cream colored I know that but I can't completely describe them..

If all goes well with securing the church, I hopefull will be an east wind bride too!! 5/28/06

I saw the new chairs yesterday, they are very similiar to the ones they use at the Inn. Deep Mahogony Frame and legs and green fabric, much better! Also they are changing the rug to be less dramatic, beautiful!!
