SLIPPER ORDER (4/5-4/12)

Hi Everyone
Because there was an overwhelming response to my post about my slipper basket and requests to order, I spoke to my friend and her only request was that there be ONE complete order.

Therefore this post is going to be used to organize that ONE order - I will be leaving it open to anyone that is interested in ordering from today 4/5 through 4/12 (next Tuesday).

This should give everyone ample opportunity to make a final decision on ordering since there can obviously be no returns.

The minimum order must be 50 per person, but the final # order does not have to be in 50's (meaning you CAN order 75,82, 120 -etc.)
The slippers are $2.50 per pair.

To give you an idea, we will be having around 350-400 people at our wedding and decided to get 100 slippers total - we figured half the people are female like 200 and some are older and won't be into the whole slipper thing - However we will probably order some more - but we will still have the 3 baskets (with 30 in each) and refill with the extras.

You have your choice of color and sizes - so please specify both - ex - 50 black size 8
10 black size 7, 20 red size 6....etc
Please FM me if you are interested in knowing the color choices, but most of you were interested in the same colors that I had which were black, white, and silver.

ETA: slipper price - DUH

As far a payment is concerned - I looked at it as if I was ordering from a random person on LIW and figured that in order to protect you - the buyer - we must do payment through PAYPAL - this way you are protected - there will be a fee for me - so I have to add $5 on each order so that I don't have to end up spending my money so you guys can save yours

I will deliver the slippers to a location that we can decide on together once the order is finalized -

If you feel more comfortable FMing your order you can do that too

ETA: I spoke with FH and he said that $5 will cover the paypal fee instead of $10

Just so you know we only had 150 people at our wedding. About 75 of those were woman. I got exactly 75 pairs. And we ran out!! We had alot of older ladies at our wedding and they went more crazy for the slippers then some of the younger people!!!!

I definitly dont think 100 will be enough!! JMHO

Oh my -- I guess I will have to order some more - it cracks me up that the older ladies liked them so much - was it your post where the bathroom attendant said people were wearing one pair and sticking pairs in their pocketboots

Yes that was my post!!!! It was sooo horrible!!! Some of the ladies hadn't gone to the bathroom all evening and when they heard about the slipper basket ran in there and they were already gone!!

I don't know how much you are paying but I got them for .80 cents a pair

WOW!! Where on earth did you find them for 80 cents?? we used a distributor and got them for $2.50 - we couldn't find them for less than that ANYWHERE

I also want to add (please do not take offense Maxine) but the slippers are very different in appearance. I will post a picture tonight of the detail.

'Aqueduct flea market ( the one in/near howard beach) I went in Oct. one of the last weekends they were open so there were hardly ANY people still even selling them!!! ( meanwhile in the summer every single stand has them!!!)
They were originally $2.50 each or 3 for $5.00
Since I was buying soo many I was able to talk him down! I am sure it helped that it was already fall & no one else was probably buying them. He let me pick whatever colors & sizes I wanted and I walked home with them! ( not literally b/c 75 slippers filled 2 garbage bags and was sooooooooooooo heavy!! so take your fh with you!)'

No offense taken at all!!! I thought my slippers looked great and were a good quality esp. for the price. I was already spending a FORTUNE on favors I didn't want to spend another $2.50 on each pair of slippers. People at my wedding went CRAZY for them!
I had also bought a pair the summer before when everyone was wearing them and they lasted me all summer

You had a lot of different favors too, and your slippers are very nice too!!
