Last Saturday I had my first makeup trial with a fellow 05 bride and makeup artist Lisa (bridegirl).
I met Lisa at the March 05 gtg- she so sweetly passed out her business cards telling every she felt bad because she didn't want anyone to think she was a
Lisa is so awesome- she opened up her apartment to me and welcomed me so warmly. She looked at pictures I brought to give her ideas and she knew exactly how to take the ideas and make them work for me.
She had all her own makeup and tools and explained technique and gave tips as she worked.
I even FM'ed her with some changes I want make - use foundation and powder instead of tinted moisturizer for example- and she responded so positively.
Im so sad that I didnt have pictures to show but I had a crappy no name one time camera and they didnt come out at all. But I got plenty of positive response from family members when I went to a grad party afterwards.
Im so happy Ive booked Makeup by Lisa. She is sooooo affordable- I wont post prices but if you FM her (Bridegirl) you will faint at how affordable she is!!!!

hee hee!!! my dog is so funny!!
i dont have any pics of b4 and afters on my computer....i have snapshots somewhere, i will look for them and scan them in if i can.

i use alot of mac, christian dior, salon brand, chanel...you name it!!(but i have tested everything on myself first to see if its worthy!!!)

Are you willing to use makeup that the bride provides???
(for example,, I have a Lancome foundation that is just such the perfect color for me, and I could pick one of my own lipsticks.)

i actually suggest that, because then the bride already feels comfortable in the foundation, and also the lipstick, b/c then she can re-apply.
