Wedding website - need help :)

for those of you who included your wedding website on your save the date, is there any way to make the web address more appealing?

i am using the free website from liweddings.com, but i dont want everyone to know my user name that i have on here... is there any way to change the web address?

No, I don't think so-sorry!!! Maybe you can make yours on theknot.com and then they wont know your LIW user name!

We put our website on our Save The Date magnets but our website address is www.cherylandmike.com - it's a simple straightforward name but the website did cost $89 for a year.

no..but my friend got her wedding website done from our-wedding-online.com it was beautiful!

i believe you have a name like http://yournames.our-wedding-online.com

Yes, there is a way! doesn't make it more appealing, but at least your LIW name won't be on there (although it will show up anyway once people type the address...)

Go to tinyurl.com and type in the address that you want to make 'tiny'...so your post http://www.liweddings.com/chat/topic.aspx?ID=247712 becomes shorter...http://tinyurl.com/9zwtq. Then you would type the tinyurl.com address on the STD's.

I honestly think LIW's free website is awesome.

However, when I made my website I didn't know that LIW offered it for free!!!!

I paid ~$100 for 18 months (I think) on Wedding Window

I was able to customize the address pretty easily also to 'www.johnandjane.com'. It is the site Star Jones used for her wedding! I loved the different templates. Good luck!!!

I've decided to use wedding channel's free web site. they will let you choose your web address with first or last names and they have a ton of choices for the layout and content (more so than the Knot)

You can add as many pages and as many photos as you like and they have some very cool templates :)

do you know anyone who is handy with computers? my fi is and i had him make a basic site for us (he wanted it to have better features and such, but i wanted it right away so i could send it out roght away). we might fix it up a bit and add some stuff, but here it is... http://www.laceyandmark.com/
we bought the domain name (web address) for 1 yr for $10 and he did the rest. you might know someone who can do it for you for free or for cheap. ~lacey
