Tell me the truth, how did your cake really taste?

I took ours out of the freezer to defrost on Sunday, for Thursday night. We will be away on our Anniversary, so I thought we could eat it on Thursday.

It was a little burned, but otherwise pretty good. I only had about 3 bites I think, and that was it.

Ours was REALLY good!

But, I had it wrapped in a million layers of plastic and aluminum and mini-defrosted it every 3 months

Cake didn't make it. While we were on our honeymoon my brother's freezer broke and all the food that they packed up for us including the cake went bad. My brother took everything to his house after the party and we went to the hotel.

It must be my family and refrigeration...jeez!

Ours was actually really really good. We shared it with my family and then the rest with DH's the day after and everyone was surprised hwo yummy it was.

It tasted great and we had a piece each day for about a week.

We frozed the cake in a tupperware container about the size of the cake and then wrapped the tupperware in aluminum foil.

Okay, you guys have convinced me. We are defrosting and eating that cake for our 3 month anniversary (also roughly 1 year since we got engaged). Our cake was delicious, so it would be a shame to waste it.

Our's didn't survive the move down to NC I had my mom throw it away while I wasn't home. But DH siad he will get me a delicious cake on our 1st anniversary!

I have to say my cake tasted awesome!! I couldn't believe it!! I had to bring some of it to my parents house to have them try it!! Amazing!! I didn't even wrap it or anything!!

Congrats Tara enjoy the vacation!!

other than the fondant the cake tasted great. i had guests who asked for 3rd's. flavor's choco and coffee.

Ours was delicious but we ate ours in our ONE MONTH anniversary. So many of my friends said their cake was gross a year later. It also took up valuable freezer space.

Ours was really really good. It was wrapped really well. My whole family and I had it.
