We're Married!!!!YAY!!! I just can't believe that it is over already! Here is my mini review!
Our Wedding was on Friday (9/30) and I can not believe that it is over already. All I can say is that I want to do it again, and again, and again! Everything was amazing and soooo beautiful.
I don't have any pictures yet but as soon as I do I will be sure to post them and to write my full review. But for now here is a little re-cap & Mini review of our day.
Mother Nature was Very kind to us, seeing as how thursday was windy, rainy and very cold. When I woke up on Friday morning it was clear blue skies, 0% humidity and 69 degrees...absolutely perfect.
I used Tarale & Wendy for hair and makeup, OMG, I can't say enough good things about them, they were phenomenal. Both my hair & make up came out more beautiful than I could have ever dreamed. I promise I will post pics asap.
My Florist was John from Flowermichele. My flowers were so much more beautiful than I initially thought. John is soooo amazing and I highly reccomend him to everyone.
For Limos I used Dynasty Limos from West Islip. They were on time and the drivers were friendly and neatly dressed. The limos were mostly clean but I will say that the door jam on my limo was not clean and wound up getting black dirt on my dress which really ticked me off.
St. Judes Roman Catholic Church, Decan Gillen performed the ceremony. He was soo funny (a personal friend of the family) and if it weren't for his jokes I probably would have been a blubbering mess, crying non-stop. The church is really beautiful and it has alot of glass which allowed alot of the day light in.
Reception Hall was Sunset Harbour, They did a wonderful job with everything. We did have a minor problem with power due to an accident that they had earlier that day involving a truck and a down power line. So the first half of my cocktail hour was by candlelight (thank god I bought so many candles) Other than that everything was great.
Music was done by Deniz the Meniz and he was great. Played everything I asked him to and was really funny. My dance floor was packed all night long which is what I was hoping for.
Photography by Dan Wagner, he was on time and really great. It did feel like we took alot of posed pics and I just hope that he got some really good photojournalistic types also since that is what I aked for. I guess we'll have to see when I get my proofs back.
My Dress - Maggie Sottero / Macy's Bridal Salon. Macy's did a great job with everything I did think they were a little overpriced with their alterations but everything came out beautiful in the end.
My BM dresses - Bill Levkoff / Bridal Suite of Patchogue, Well BS Drama aside my Bridesmaids dresses were georgous and they looked awesome on everyone - I was very happy.
Well I think that is it for now. I am exausted still and need to rest up. I will post pics and a full review as soon as I can.
Thanks Ladies
