Tipping- help!

Who to tip and how much?

Maitre'D- fee was given- tip more?

Photographer (2)

Florist
Limos- tip included
Makeup
Bridal attendant
Valets at hall
Bartenders at hall?

Am I forgetting anyone?

This is what we did..
Maitre'D- (we gave $3.00 per person.. he wasnt GREAT so he didnt get more)

DJ 100 each (we had DJ and percussionist)
MC 50
Photographer (2) 100 each
Videographer 100
Florist $25 (there was a small delivery charge)
Limos- tip included (but we also gave 40 each)
Makeup 40, i think!
Bridal attendant 150
Valets at hall (oops forgot them!)
Bartenders at hall? 50 each

what about your hair person??

How sad is it that I've forgotten some of this already?!

We didn't tip the bartenders or valets. At the weddings we usually go to the bartenders get tipped the whole night from the guests and most people tip the valet at the end when they get their car.

This is what I remember:
the Maitre D (BM) $2 per guest
we had a band and we tipped each member $20
limo drivers: it was included but we gave them $50 each in addition
Bridal attendant $100 (she wasn't that great)
makeup and hair people: 20%
photographer (main): $100
photographer (2nd): $50
phptographer asst.: $25

we also tipped the wait staff. I think we gave them $200 total to split.

Just remember that some of the people who you expect to do exemplary jobs on the day of your wedding may not...so while you are planning all of your tips... just make sure that you are giving tips to people who actually stepped up and did a good job.

We had our tip envelopes ready but some were not given out because of the not-so-stellar service during our wedding.

my advice: make sure those who you give tips are deserving.

flower delivery - $30.00
DJ - $100.00
Photo (2) and Video - $100.00 each
DOC - didnt have to tip her but she did an awesome job (I cant remember if I gave her $50.00 or $100.00)
Limos - tip was included in the price

Didn't realize the photo/video and DJ got such a big tip! Any more help??

Videographer N/A
Florist - I had $60 for them, but never saw them.
Limos- tip included (and I didn't give more because mine sucked)
Makeup- 20%, plus Starbucks card in thank you note
Hair - 20% + gift certificate in thank you note
Bridal attendant -- N/A. I had a close friend help out in the morning. I have her a gift card to the gap.
Ceremony Musicians -- I think I gave $50 per head.

Because my reception place had a family connection, I had an envelope for the 'staff' including the bar tender. I don't think that is expected. But you should have something for the server who works your table and maybe for the bartender.

Maitre'D- A little more than $3.50 per head (he was so good that we added to his tip)
Band - $50 per person (6 piece)
Photographers (2) and assistant - $75 each
Videographer - N/A
Florist delivery - $25
Limos (3) - $30 per driver
Makeup - $20
Hair - $20
Bridal attendant - $200
Valets - Didn't tip
Bartenders - Didn't tip
Deacon - $50
