So I called the woman who I had my trial with, to finalize details for pricing. She's in Jersey so I sent her directions to JT so she would know how far it is. But all along my MOH and I (it's her regular hair woman) told her it's in LI. Well she tells me she didn't realize how far it was and she's going to call back with a price for the day. But she's going to have to close her salon for the say (she's the owner) and it will cost a little more. Not only that, but now I'm worried that she won't be reliable and find the place on time.
Who is good for hair and makeup, and who does both hair and makeup? Thanks!

If you want a basic hairdresser,Im using Holly at kutting kraze in bellmore. Shes gret with updo's she did mine for my cousins wedding and 2 trials for mine ( only case i cant decide on a style) any girl there can do make up too- there also doing mine FM me if you want Info

At least you have plenty of time to find someone else! I cannot recommend anyone yet because I did not like any of my trials. I plan to try Clarin Cohen and Maureen Pedela for makeup - they are both free!

I'm using Jacqueline Nicole for make-up and Sarah Rock for hair. Sarah Rock (since you would like the hair/make-up person to work together) works with Jillian from Gorgeous faces... check them out on the Vendors link under make-up, then Gorgeous Faces and you can look at Sarah's work from there too. I tried Clarin Cohen over the weekend. I really liked her but she has a 3 person minimum so I can't use her.

I hope it's for a reason! Thanks, girls. I'm going to wait until she gives me the price. But this whole thing has left a bad taste in my mouth. But I also don't want to have my MOH's feeling hurt since she raved about this woman. If her price is too much though, there's nothing I can do. I really liked her trial, too.

Jennifer Fusco of Artizan salon in Merrick is fantastic and she does extensions. I have had her name given to me numerous times from all different people.
