Holy Cannoli - I thought we'd never finish!!!! (w/pics)

Wen went the DIY route w/our invitations and we're finally finished! All invites address, stampped, and ready to be hand cancelled (Monday morning!)

Can't wait until the No's come in....

What a relief!!!!!

Hand cancelled is when the post office cancels the stamps and ships them out. Instead of the regular way where they run it through a machine. When you hand cancel, the invites stay in pretty good condition.

It's the circular stamp that goes over the postage and envelope so that your invites don't go through 2 machines that can ruin them.

This is an example....it's the red stamp in the upper right corner.

So I just bring them to the counter instead of dropping in the box?
