I have an idea on how I can help out present and future brides. A project, of sorts. But I need your help first!

Could you please just take a moment to answer:

1. Name of the place you're having your pictures taken after the ceremony?

2. What county is the place in?

3. Is a photo permit required?

4. Is a fee required? If so, and you wouldn't mind, can you post how much it is?

Oh, that isn't even the half of it.

That's *IF* everyone tells me where they're having their pics taken.

I decided not to take photo there but here is a place in Roslyn close to the George Washington manor.

1/ Gerry park on Roslyn Rd (all the way up north by the water).

2/ Nassau

3/ Permit needed for professional photos

$/ $75 fee

Same for me...the 50 includes the photo permit!!! And the photographer needs to be insured (which he shold be if he/she is professional)

There is a bandshell in the park that can be rented for wedding ceremonies. Fee $100.

Yeah, the RH requires they be insured too, so at least that's covered!

-Holtsville Ecology Center (INDOORS!!! Look in my album)
-Suffolk
-No permit needed, but an appoinment is absolutely necessary. They give an hour block.
-They ask for a donation to help the animals in another area of the center. We gave $100, but it's up to the individual.

Ooooo I am EXCITED....I have a feeling this is going to be of mucho help to me. I have not decided on much yet, so I am sorry that I cannot help you.

1- We have a winter wedding, so we're taking our photos in the photo studio at our reception hall. When you book the Fox Hollow, you get use of the studio.
