Question for brides that used/using Men's Wearhouse

Went to the one near me in Maryland this Saturday and FH picked out tuxes.

All she gave us was a receipt for the $40 deposit he had to put down

My question to you is... should we have gotten a contract or something? Something with all the guys names on it and the tux we picked out? Or just this deposit receipt?

I had a contract from when I went to a Bridal Show and I got the discounted amount. When my husband picked out the tuxes, he didn't get any paperwork. However, I went back to Mens Wearhouse and asked for a print out that I could provide to the groomsmen and they gave it to me. It looked like a large register receipt.

We got something in writing (but I don't think it was until DH came back for his fitting) when we used a Men's Wearhouse (in VA)...they were great, but make sure they have the tuxes sent to the right store in NY (there was a data entry error that I caught--and they were going to the wrong store!).

We are using them, and when FH picked out the tuxes, we got a huge register receipt, which had the our wedding party #, with all the guys names and the detailed list of the tuxedoes he picked (with vest color etc.)

The guys can go anywhere to get measured, and all they have to do is give in the confirmation/party # and their measurements will be entered...

I would call back and just see if you can get the #

We are using them and we got a huge receipt with all the detailed info on everyone in the wedding party. Double check to make sure there isn't more info on the receipt you received.

For peace of mind you can also call them. I had misplaced the info and wanted to know our # so everyone could go and get measured and they were able to look it up really fast.

We used MW and had a full contract with all of the guys names, phone #'s, and other contact info. We uded the one by Smithaven Mall. I would contact them again just to make sure that that was all you needed.

We also got the huge register receipt listing everyone and what exaclty they were supposed to get. You definitely need a group number to give to your guys so they can go in to a store and get measured. They told us they wouldn't be able to look it up by our names, only by the group number.

This intrigues me.. I only got a receipt saying that FH pai a $40 deposit. It doesnt even say that its a deposit for 'holding the reservation'

We didnt get a group number or anything like that.
