I am wearing these. The BM are in taupe and my dress is light gold so they have all the colors and I will be able to wear them again. Whats the rule no white shoes after Labor Day!
I dont want to wear white shoes either! Too much white! hehe. But I dont want to match my BM's cus they are wearing brown. I might find a gold pair to wear. I wore gold to my sisters wedding- they wear strappy sandals with a little heal- from payless! haha. They wear so comfy- I may just wear them to my wedding! But I dont think it will be sandle season yet. :(

I'm going to wear navy shoes. I still can't decide if I want the expensive ones or the cheapies, though! Can't find what I want that's already navy, so I'm going to get them dyed. I'm trying to decide between three shoes. I want them decorated, so if I get the cheaper ones, I'm going to put on shoe clips, or hot glue on crystals. The first is $50, then $140, finally $200. However, I'm going to be wearing these shoes for a long, long time that day, so I'm thinking it might be worth it to get the shoes with the leather linings and soles--the $140 or $200. My wedding is at 11:30am, reception ends at 5pm, and I'm thinking of going out after the reception to Manhattan to get more pictures done and just to hang out and be silly. I'd like to wear my wedding shoes! So I might be in these shoes for fourteen hours, and they should be comfy. (Can't you tell I'm justifying buying the more expensive shoes? )
my 'stripper' shoes as my sister called them (in the background of this album page---sorry I don't have the original pic scanned)....loved these shoes, so comfy, cheap ($15) and I still wear them and think of our wedding day!!!!

I LOVE everyone's shoes!!! way cute!
I found myself drawn to these Cole Haan's...they have that Nike Air insoles, so i'm guessing they'll be comfy too. My colors are burgundy and ivory, so they would totally match...they may be a little too vampy...but, oh well!!!

I even asked the seamstress to make my dress shorter than normal so they would peek out when I walked down the aisle, and they did!
