I was thinking about wearing wine colored shoes under my dress to match my bridesmaids' dresses.

Did anyone else wear not wear the traditional white wedding shoe? Show me please!!!

oh!!! that's a great idea to wear more ... ahem...'appropriate' shoes for the ceremony...and changing into something wild for the reception!!!

ound myself drawn to these Cole Haan's...they have that Nike Air insoles, so i'm guessing they'll be comfy too

Love the Cole Haans! I think you should get them. I'm not a high heel wearer, but I have a couple of friends who have several pairs of the Nike Air Cole Haans, and they say they're fabulous. That you'd never know you were in such high heels. Yeah, they're pricey, but one: it's your wedding day, and two: you'll wear them again and again and be able to think about your wedding day every time!

Also , beaviss80, I LOVE the hot pink Chucks! I'm a Chucks girl myself. I wore those hot pink ones all through high school. Lately I'm more of a blue Chucks person--have navy, Carolina blue, a neat pair of Hawaiian print blue and cream ones. If I wasn't planning on wearing low shoes for the ceremony, I'd be thinking about wearing Chucks myself.

But can I ask--what do you do about the dress length? Or won't it matter because your dress will be bustled at the ceremony? I've been worried so much about one damn extra inch on my heels making the hem too short, it's probably totally ridiculous.
