I still have not the slightest clue where to go for our honeymoon. We don't necessarily have a set budget we want to stick by but we just want to go somewhere beautiful and obviously get the most bang for our buck! So I'm thinking that it would help to hear everyone's honeymoon info and only if you feel comfortable prices would be great but if you don't want to post them you can either FM me what you paid OR just not list a price at all (details are just as good for me to get ideas).

Ok we want to do A few places in italy, Capri, monte carlo/monaco, and maybe santorini

2-3 weeks, i wanna try for 3 not sure about time off though

dont know yet, but fh's mom spoke to her travel agent so he said he will help us out, and he also did another family friend recently who got married a few weeks ago, and he even gave the couple a gift, an envelope so cash gift and he wasnt even invited, how nice

What's included in your package: All Inclusive Resort: 8 a la carte restaurants, no reservations, 24 hour room service, 6 pools, spa, jacuzzi in each suite, airport transfers, etc...

Miscellaneous details: Marion from Penthouse Travel is awesome (FM if you want more info)

Price (optional but definitely helps): We are spending with air about $4500

Were going on a 14 day southern caribbean cruise through Royal Caribbean and the ports of call include San Juan, St. Thomas, St. Maarten, Antigua, St. Lucia, Barbados, Curacao, and Aruba.
We both love cruising so much so it was never a question of what kind of honeymoon we were going to have. I cant remember the price we got cause it was so long ago that we booked. If this is something you were thinking of doing though, just FM me and I'll find out for you.

Amsterdam
South of France or Paris
Italia (Rome, Capri, Naples, Venice, the hot spots etc )
Greece (Santorini)
And if I dont go to Turkey this year, next I will make the part of the HM as well.

They are all close in some way. Couple of hours flight or ferry rides across. The HM is a great reason to visit as many places as possible, lol

How many days/nights: 7

What's included in your package: flight, hotel, food, drinks etc.

Miscellaneous details:we stay at one hotel but can enjoy all three - there is a spa, golf, water sports, tours etc.

I already planned one activity for each day: couples massage, private candle lit dinner on the beach for our TEN year anniversary, tours, fishing etc!

Price (optional but definitely helps): i think a little over $5K at this point - my TA keeps saving me money so we may add on a day!

We're doing two trips, Vegas right after the wedding and cruise to Italy/Greece/Croatia in May

How many days/nights:
Not positive as of yet.
Vegas will either be 4-5 nights depending on if we can get a good deal for Friday night (its three times as much).
The cruise is 7 nights but we're tacking on an extra 3 before to get used to the time difference.

What's included in your package:
not much for Vegas:(

Cruise includes food. We also got a $300 onboard credit to either pay for drinks/excursions/spa.

Price (optional but definitely helps):

Cruise $2500 airfare will probably add another $1200 (if not more)
Vegas were hoping to do for as close to $1k (air/hotel) as possible which is probably a pipedream.

It's kinda sad because we're being really cheap with a lot of the things, but trying not to skimp on the honeymoon.

2 or 3 nights in key largo

Where are you going: Couples San Souci in Ochos Rios, Jamaica

How many days/nights: 8/7

What's included in your package: AI, couples massage, champaigne, room service, trips to Margaritaville and Dunns River Falls, horseback riding on beach, scuba, snorkle, etc.

Price (optional but definitely helps): in the 4 range

Where are you going: Royal Caribbean Trans-Atlantic Cruise - stops at Bermuda, the Azores, Portugal and three locations in Spain.

How many days/nights: The Cruise is 14 night but we added an extra night in Ft.Lauderdale before and a night in Barcelona after

What's included in your package: food, all on board ship activities (minus the spa), drinks (minus soda and alcohol)

Price (optional but definitely helps): I believe it was JUST over $5k but that includes round trip airfare - jfk to ft lauderdale and barcelona to jfk - and travel insurance.

Disneyworld/Disney Cruise

8 Days 7 Nights

Theme parks and food. Almost everything is included on the cruise except the spa.


$4,000 without air flight. I haven't gotten them yet. It is too early to book.

We have not planned ours yets.

We have been talking about going to Alaska for years, so we would really like to do that. But you cannot go to Alaska in Feb, so we would have to wait until the summer/fall.

Maybe we could do a mini-moon - i've heard of that on here and some other people have told me that. I was thinking PR since it's close and can be inexpensive if we only go for a couple of days.

But nothing has been planned and I have a feeling we wont start talking more about it for a while. Unfortunately, due to finances, it is very low on our priority list.

Vegas is REALLY not as bad as you think. FH and I went 3 times in '06, and, we stayed at the Sahara. It's no Bellagio, but, it is nice, low key, and inexpensive.

You can DEFINITELY do flight and hotel for about 1k. I don't think we spent more than 2k total on any of our trips, and, we are big gamblers, and, clearly, big eaters.
