Gifts

I know this is kind of personal so I'm putting up a poll. How much did you receive in wedding gifts?

I'm not married yet so I can't answer - but do you mean cash-only gifts or the value of the $ + the boxed gifts you got.

Also, the results will be skewed b/c some people have 60 guests while others have 400.

This is true.....I had 98 guests so someone with 200+ guests would probably have gotten more in gifts than me ?!?

ITA, you may be better off with “What was the average gift you received...” that way you can take that number and multiply by the # of guests YOU will be having.

Some people have weddings with only a few family members attending a small ceremony and some have huge weddings with 600 people so answers will be very different depending upon that. But is the money really that big of a deal to you?
