UPDATED!! Greentree Country Club Review!!!!!!
It's for my friend's wedding... I will post a review asap! In case anyone is interested in the davenport ave, new rochelle halls!!!
UPDATE!
So it was an afternoon wedding... ceremony at 11:30 in the backyard.. water in background, gorgeous! What I didnt like about the outside was the area you have to walk through to get to the ceremony... 2 pools that are fenced in and the area just looks very blahhhh
CH room was pretty, but there was no airconditioning and we were dying... go figure that this would be an issue you'd have to deal with in oct...
The room seemed to be like a greenhouse and just atttracted the sun and held in the heat .... i couldnt wait for CH to be over... Also, i dunno if it was b/c what the bride/groom chose but the space was huge and there wasnt alot of food to fill it! i felt like there should have been more to choose from and was sittin there ![]()
Onto the reception! The room is gorgeous... candeliers, everything Absolutely loved it! Didnt love that there wasa curtain that they slid across in the beginning before they announced wedding party... Looked very cheesy to me
To me, the room was wayyy to big for a party of like 115 which i think is what she had. There was no bar in the room! You had to walk outside of the reception area to keep getting a drink... The bathroom only had 2 stalls so yes I did wait on line to use it.. No attendent and no bathroom basket which i could have used at 1 point! So now, I see the use of making one for my own wedding!![]()
Onto the food!!! FH & I thought CH food should have been a lil better... stuffed clams werent really all that good, but the carving stations of lamb and turkey were amazing!!!!!!! Sooo delicious! We felt like we were a lil disappointed with CH and its usualyl the thing everyone looks foward to most
Reception food- Fh & I both got the filet mignon and it was soooo tender and juicy... absolutely perfect! The potato with it was also very good! Not sure if the cake is made by the RH, but that was also very very good!!!
*Feel free to ask any questions!!!*
