Girls doing Pocketfolds...Envelope Question*edit*

hi ladies, i need some help.
FH and i ordered Pocketfolds. I didnt' realize how big they were when i ordered them b/c i have concept of spacial dimensions so i ordered 6x9 pocketfolds.
it worked out reallly well b/c the invites i'm mounting in them are bigger than the other pocketfolds i liked...

anyway...

what size envelopes do i need to get?
They sell 6x9 booklet envelopes... but i'm not sure what that means...

any ideas?

ETA:
My pocketfolds are actually 6.25x9.25
would 6.5x9.5 be big enough you think?

hhmm- I would think 6.25 x 9.25, at least. You dont want to have to stuff em in.

Def. order a sample envelope.

Where are you ordering envelopes from?

hold on...I have a good site I was gonna use when I was gonna do pocketfolds..i'll post it

Edit--ok- its
www.envelopemall.com

They have booklet, but im not sure what that means either. Maybe its a bit wider for bigger contents...idk.

Call them..they were very helpfil and they sent samples really quickly..like in 2 days.

My invites are 6x6 pocketfolds with 4 insert cards and a bow. I am going half an inch larger for the envelopes 6.5x6.5

did you measure your pocketfold? Are they exactly 6x9? sometimes they round sizes to the nearest inch - i found some that are 6x9.5 and wondered if they might work for you

I am bumping this because after closer inspection it turns out that my pocketfolds are 6.25'x9.25'
do you think 6.5'x9.5' envelopes would be okay?

6.25x9.25 are the dimensions of an Envelopment brand pocketfold ... the brand manufactures envelopes out of their papers so everything can be a perfect match.

They also just came out with envelope liners, if you wanted to add that as an extra touch to your DIY project.

Check their website for local dealers, if they don't have the items in stock they can be ordered for you

no bow, but we're putting a thin piece of ribbon around it, and also using a wax seal on the ribbon.
Our inserts are a postcard, and regular paper, nothing too thick, and we didn't use a thick cardstock for backing.

Thanks! Envelopment brand envelopes seem a bit pricey but we'll def look into them.

After looking at the website, their clear envelopes are actually cheaper than most of the clear ones i was looking at... but it says the size is 6x9

You have to click on the graphic of the envelopes to get the 'real' dimensions of everything ... I just checked for you, it says they measure 6.438 x 9.5 ...

THANK YOU!
I don't understand why they can't say what the real size is in the description of things you know?
