Don't throw out your monogramed aisle runner's(now with pic)

Hi girls,
Happy new year. I know I have been so sporadic these days however I am really trying to stay within the LIW loop.
So I wanted to share what DH and I did this weekend. As some of you know I had a custom aisle runner made by Lorillis that never made it out for when I walked down the aisle. So anyway, since I spend all that money to get it done, I wanted to still use it. So I framed the monogram and placed both my bouquet & tablee dried flowers hanging from both sides of the frame. It looks AWESOME. I will post pictures ASAP!

**I hope this is an idea that others can use!

***I got the frame at Michaels and used a 50% off coupon. It was originally $60 and I got it for $30. A steal!

That is what my mom is going to do with mine, she has to fix it b/c the limo driver ripped it

That's a good idea!

I saw this and wanted to share what my SIL did with hers - she sewed it into a pillowcase and displays it on her bed.

I did not order a custom runner, and the one I did order from the florist never got put out either!

We didnt have a runner at all but I like the pillowcase Idea. Becomes an hairloom sort of thing. I wonder if the same could be done with my wedding dress? Like take a piece and work it into a baby pilow at least. Christenign outfit wouldnt work because of the lace overlay.

That's an awesome idea!!! only I do not have my bo-k..... I gave it to my cousin because i was going away for 2 weeks and we were leaving straight from the hotel.... I knew it was only something that was going to get messed up....so perhaps I will get a single rose and put in there

love it!! great idea!! we had a runner too and it's sitting at my parents house with the rest of our wedding stuff did you have to do anything to the runner to make sure it laid flat when yoiu framed it?

We actually used a leveler and laid it on top of the aisle runner once it was in the frame. I used the leveler to just take out all the pumps in the runner. Then I took placed the back if the frame and hug it up. Pretty simple.
