Reception hall with view of city

Reception hall with view of city

Hey everyone,

My sister in law just got engaged and is having a hard time finding a reception hall. She lives in NJ, and we are looking for a reception hall that has a view of the Manhattan skyline. She is open to NY venues also.
So far we have looked at The Chart House in Weekawken, which she loves but the price per person isn't so great for what she would be getting and they only have friday nights. Liberty House is out of her price range even in the off season. Does anyone have any other ideas that we haven't thought of?

Thanks in advance

The Hyatt in Jersey City is very nice. We went to a wedding there. Not sure how $$$ it is.

I agree with the Hyatt in jersey city, i used to work in the building right next to it and youre basically RIGHT on the water. The only thing after the hotel is a small boardwalk and then the water.

Also Watersedge in LIC, queens is right on the water too with amazing view. And bridgewaters in Manhattan

Theres also the abigail kirsch location in brooklyn called Stage 6

Pochron Studios in BK. The view of the skyline and the bridge is amazing.

The Highlawn Pavilion in West Orange is gorgeous...sits on top of the Eagle Rock reservation with sweeping views of the city. The rates are very affordable. Would have loved to have my reception there, but it was too small for my event.

The Hyatt in Jersey City is gorgeous! Great food and service, too. Plus is convenient for people in the city via the PATH. There are other hotels in the Newport area too, but not sure if they do banquets/have views.

There is a restaurant at the Riverside State Park in Washington Heights that is right on the Hudson and does weddings. I forget the name, but I hear it's very affordable.

HTH!

I have heard great things about Glen Island Harbour Club in New Rochelle, NY- it is on the water and has NYC skyline views. Hope that helps!

Hello, I'm not used to being on these forums, I usually use liweddings for my wedding website and check out some halls.
My fiance and I plan on checking out the Terrace on the Park and I had seen that you posted a reply saying it has an amazing view and is cheap... what is cheap?
Under $100/pp under $150/pp??

we live out in suffolk and he does not want to drive all the way out to queens to be given a number that is just too much.

Thank you!
