Moms Help! MOB dress- not strapless

My mom is not a lady who wears all the new fashions or anything like that so she has never worn a strapless bra and she does have a fairly large chest so she really doesnt want to wear a strapless gown having to wear a strapless bra for my wedding. She is definately on a budget and I dont want to even send her places where she will be sad and embarassed because she cant afford anything. She doesnt want to go the any of the department stores though (unless they have a bridal department) because she is short and definatley needs alterations so cant by off the rack. Any suggestions Moms or girls?

If your mom is willing to come to Brooklyn I recommend Doris Fashions on 18th Avenue and 68th Street. They are a small bridal store with tons of dresses for everyone in your bridal party and they are very nice and have every style you can think of.
If you go ask for Maria to be your salesgirl and Josephine to do your alterations.
