International Sounds

Is anyone using International Sounds as their DJ? I just met with them and I am very interested, but I think they're a little pricey. What is a typical/average price for a DJ with plasma screens?

Re: International Sounds

Hi,

Yes, I just used them for my wedding this Sunday. Best decision I ever made. I had a Greek/Ecuadorian wedding and they kept the dance floor packed all night. Keep in mind that these guys just do Entertainment all day every, they don't do it as a side job. So they might be a little more than average, but pls trust me when I tell you they were totally worth it. Saving a couple of bucks to go elsewhere might end up costing you more in the end. That was my fear cause bad food and bad music can ruin what is supposed to be the best night of your life.

I also did the lighting which was out of control. I will try to make time to post pics next week so you can check them out! You can check him out on facebook actually.

Hope this helps. Good luck!!

Hi Becca,

I used them! I didn't even bother calling anyone else to 'pricematch' He was highly rec. and I am glad i went with International Sounds.

George was very impressive and delivered exactly what I wanted above & Beyond pleased.

International Sounds had the dance floor packed. The lighting seriously set the mood. I KNOW if i didn't go with them, i would have regretted it.

But my main concerns about my wedding was Music. Food. Photos & ME lol & I was pleased with everything decision I made

They seriously made my wedding! My guests were constantly complimenting the music ambiance and vibe!

In fact after my wedding 2 of my guests booked him for misc. events.

Good Luck!

My husband and I used International Sounds for our wedding at the Newark Club this past May as well. We are still getting compliments about it and we got married on 5-24-09! We wanted the best, interviewed a few DJs, and we got the best!!! The dance floor was packed all night and both of my 80 year old grandmas were even dancing!! They did a teriffic job with the music and the lighting. They played a perfect balance of current hits and music for the 'older people' at the wedding. Wtih a wedding of over 200 people, it is hard to please everyone but that is exactly what they did. Music and lighting are very important aspects of a wedding and you don't want to 'skimp' on them!! I would recommend International Sounds to everyone because of their professionalism, versatility, and experience. I hope this helps you!!

Hi there,

I used international sounds for my wedding, and they were AWESOME. Hands down the best vendor I hired. My husband and I did not sit down for longer than 30 seconds. George was perfect. he was professional, stayed out of my hair, knew exactly what to play at the perfect time, and the next day, people were calling me left and right asking for his contact information. The difference between International Sounds and other DJ's is that this is their FULL TIME job/business - and the truth is, it shows. I remember watching my video shortly after my wedding day, and writing George the nicest thank you card of all time. Bottom line - the flowers were pretty, the cake was fresh but the if the entertainment is perfect EVERYONE has a blast. I would pay double for International Sounds if I had to do it again. They were that good...

Good luck!

Hi there! We just used International Sounds for our wedding June 21st and they were FABULOUS! We interviewed a few DJs but as soon as we met George we loved him. They were super professional and patient throughout the whole process and the dance floor was packed all night. We're still getting compliments on the music! Everyone said that it was the most fun wedding they've been to! Everything was seamless, and also the lighting package was totally worth every penny! My husband talked me into the lighting package although i was concerned with the cost, but after the fact he was so right. When we got our pictures back they are illuminated with different colors and it made the ambiance so much better. It just gave it a little something extra! Trust me you won't be disappointed, they were really amazing and i'm so glad we went with them! :)
