Frank showed me the floor plan! This room is going to be AMAZING! I am curious to know if anyone booked it? It will be ready in two months!

It is going to hold 150-225 guest. It is going to be ready in two months but you can book now. It is going to have all hardwood flooring, fireplace, new chairs, new tables, largest bridal suite and brand new cocktail room. I am super excited but a bit nervous. I will keep you updated. I hope i didn't book a mistake!

Do you know what the min. for the room is? And do you know if they're allowing people to switch to it? I really want to see!!!!

I didnt know anything about this... I'm going to call my BM tomorrow.

...now that I'm thinking about it, I'm kind of upset that I didn't know. Now there is the possibility of four weddings going on with one bathroom for everyone?

No, it has its own bathrooms. They reassured me that they don't have more than two weddings at once and that both weddings are usually on opposite ends. All the rooms have their own bathrooms and bridal suites. Tihs new room is towards the back. It is going to have its own entrance, bathrooms, cocktail room and bridal suite together, towards the back, not interfering with other weddings. It is not ready to see yet, only the floor plan. The min is 150!

Wow that's so interesting. Can you tell me what shape the room is? Is it more of a square with a dance floor in the middle or long and rectangular like the Garden Terrace? TIA!

Re: Anyone booked the new room at the Fox Hollow inn? The one being built with the six feet tall fireplace?

It is L shaped, in that the bottom of the L is the cocktail room and the top is the main room, separated by french doors. So the main room is rectangle shaped. We were told that because the flooring is all hardwood, that we can set up the tables and chairs in any directions. The cocktail room is a little bit smaller than the winter garden. It has its own outside area to smoke if needed. Ask about the room next time you go!

Would the room size fall between Winter Garden and Briar Fox or between Briar Fox and Garden Terrace?

What time does the cocktail hour and reception start for that room?

Does anyone know if they are allowing current brides to switch to the new room??

ETA: THANKS!!!!

This is not true....all of FH's rooms have their own bridal suite but they do NOT have their own bathrooms...

I'm so confused.
I thought a bunch of girls called their FH banquet managers yesterday and they all said there's no new room... they're just remodeling the Petite Garden.

Yes, I called my BM and he assured me there is no new reception room- just the same 3... and that they're remodeling the petite garden. I do not think he'd lie to me...whats going on with this?

Re: Anyone booked the new room at the Fox Hollow inn? The one being built with the six feet tall fireplace?

Yes, it is the Petite room in addition to an extension. They are removing some extra rooms and space that other people rent (wedding planners) that we as brides don't get to see. There is a lot of space towards the back of the building and upstairs. Fox Hollow is like a maze. All i know is what I was told. He led us through the area that is being renovated but some areas were closed off. We heard them working. I wanted to sneak a peek but only saw the halls, where the bridal suite will be (the space) and bathrooms.

I think there is a Petite GARDEN and a Petite GALLERY. Not sure, but I think there's a difference. Or at least I hope so, because I'm supposed to have the Lantern & the Petite Garden for my cocktail hour rooms, and if they take one away there won't be enough room for everyone!

Now I'm mad they haven't said anything about this...

My contract says Petit Garden. So confused. I called and left a message. My BM is not there yet. So stressful!
