I made an angry phone call! It does exist and they are building it BUT it won't be ready for a long while. It will be ready for my wedding date. I spoke to another BM and he assured me that it isn't a myth. He said the problem is, it isn't ready yet and many people want to go back on their contracts and change their rooms when it isn't ready yet. They don't want brides calling for a room that won't be ready for a while or have already booked a room and now want to know about this new room. They offered it to me because I wanted the Winter garden but it was taken on the specific and ONLY day i wanted in 2011. It will not be a distraction to any other wedding parties (I am guessing it won't be in the way with your arrangements). Again, they only do two weddings in one day, not four. They assured me that this room is going to be amazing. I hope so. Either way ladies, all the rooms at Fox Hollow are beautiful and we are all so lucky to have made the right decision! So good luck!!!

Are any of you guys going to the showcase on 3/23? I may go and I have to drop off a payment anyway before 4/1. I'm def. going to ask my BM when I stop in!

Anyone else just getting more nervous about the talk about this new room? I get nervous upset reading reviews about some of the Fox Hollow's previous weddings, another room is scaring me!

What are the reviews like? Bad? Uh oh, now I am even more nervous!!!! I have read reviews but not too many.

Hi - I am also booked for the new room for my wedding next year. It is called the Somerly. It seats 175 persons max. It will have a 6ft tall fireplace, access to a new garden outdoor space and its own separate bridal suite and entrance. I am told it will be done February 2011 and the first weddings available there is April 2011. My wedding is next September. We have not seen the room yet because it still being built, but the renderings are gorgeous. I am nervous because we are having an afternoon wedding and the new room has a skylight. I am wondering if it will be too sunny and hot for the guests? The skylight is supposed to look just like the one from WGP. Anyone on here have a day wedding at WGP and was it too sunny/hot??
