WHAT IS GOING TO BE /WHAT IS THE THEME OF YOUR BABY'S ROOM

If you have pix of the bedding please share, also why did you choose such a theme. This came to mind b/c a friend of mine just bought Winne the pooh for her nephew's room.

Not TTC yet but I picked a whole bunch out. I like gender specific stuff. This is what I like for a girl's room..

I have 2 picked out for a girl

The girl's room will be a garden story book tea party. I want lady bugs painted on the bottom moldings and butterflies flying above, animals having a tea party, a brooke and cottage.

This is for a boy, although in person it is not so darn bright.

The boy's room will be a cowboy/western type room with denim accessories. I want an upside down horse shoe (good luck) painted over the door, and moutains and horses and other cowboy things(I have a thing for cowboys )

OMG dawnie - my friend picked that one for her boy - I believe - if not something so darn close. her mom was so upset at her because she didn't choose baby colors or pooh. The mom even gave her a giant stuff pooh at the shower. My friend is a fashion designer and I would have expected nothing less. She is like why do babies have to have pastels - they can have red! (she likes pooh too but didn't want him as a primary focus)....

shamma- where did you find that stuff. I LOVE it.
My nursery will done by Scott and grandpa after the baby is born. The baby will stay in the bassinet in my room for about 2 months anyway so by then his or her room will be all done and ready to move into.

Aww, they are all so cute!! I was just shopping in Babies R Us for my friends shower, and saw a greem gingham set that I loved.... So maybe when the time comes..... (it's similar to the one Michele posted)

The bedding we chose is called Rainbow Fish. DH preferred not to know the sex of the baby. My DH actually got excited about something in the baby's room. He wanted an aquatic theme and we had a mural painted. This did not leave much choice for the bedding. There is a link to the photo album of her room (the mural and crib only).

Annalise's room

We got the bedding in a 4 piece set at Kmart. It was less feminine than the one displayed here. I thought this one was too frilly for a boy. Ours has navy blue piping instead of ruffles.
