Has anyone ever used 2 Florists?

Just wondering if anyone has ever used 2 florists because my Church is in Brooklyn but the hall is in LI. I would like to get a LI Florist because this way I know the flowers will get there in one piece and it won't take too long to get there (because of the heat - I am getting married on July 3rd). BUT, I do need my bouquet and my girl bouquets but they would have to be delivered to Brooklyn from LI. So I was wondering if I should get 2 different florists..one in Brooklyn and one in LI.

he has 2 locations. one in queens and one in long island.

For jennbaby's flowers her bo-k and all of those came from the queens location and her centerpieces came from the long island location

talk to him, I am sure he'll be of a great help

I did but it was not for that reason. I had booked a florist early, on recc of my GF. Then I went to see Flowerden and I fell in love. I could not get my deposit back from the first florist so I had them do the bouts for the GM, the mother's flowers and the alter arrangements for the church.

I then had Flowerden do my bo-k, my girl's flowers my hubby's bout a presentation bo-k for my mom and the reception. She is located in Bklyn and she does beautiful work. Any florist will go anywhere.

My florist also has two locations- one in Queens and one in Long Island- it's Pedestals. That might be easier than going with 2 seperate florists.

The florist trucks are refrigerated, any reputable florist should be ok doing your job no matter where they are. Don't let that bother you. If you like a certain florist go with them. Do check with them tho' how many weddings they have for your day and confirm with them the week of your wedding what time you want them to arrive with your personal flowers.

I am getting two florists. Since I live in Brooklyn and my FI lives in LI. I am getting my flowers from a florist in Bklyn and the flowers for FI from a florist by his house.

I'm doing it...I've heard good things about the house florist of our hall and FMIL is paying for personal flowers, so we are going with her florist that she uses all the time.

I had asked that once and I was told you definetly could, just make sure you know what flowers you are using in personal flowers / centerpieces, cause once in the room together, you want your flowers to complement the tables.

I am using 2 florists - one for bouquets and one for the centerpieces and ceremony. I had a contract for bouquets through my catering hall, so that is the only reason I am getting them somewhere else!
