Regrets about dress (long sorry)

HI Girls...I just need to vent a little. I am starting to panic...I think that I made a wrong decision when purchasing my dress. I mean don't get me wrong, I like my dress...but it's not THE dress. I pressured myself when after trying on over 100 dress..still did not find THE one. I ended up buying a dress my dad really liked and that was an amazing price. I think that my wanting to get it over with and my cheapness, getting wrapped up in the whole thing, all won out and now I dont think there is anything I can do...I ordered the dress in July and it should be in in Jan...I am bugging...what should I do???

I think that is a common feeling. Don't panic. Wait until you see it in January. Chances are you will fall in love with it.

I agree with am470... or maybe you should go back to the store, try it on again and then decide? If you still don't like it, ask the saleslady at the store if there's any way you could cancel the order and buy another dress? I'm sure you are not the only bride who has done this. Try not to stress... it will all work out

I think u should go back to the store now and try it on like she said. It's probably just your nerves. Don't stress it will be okay!

I had the same concerns about my dress and once it was in and I put it on again, I was all better.

I am feeling the same way but Im just gonna take it to a seamstress and have her alter it hear and there- because I was even thinking about buying another dress and wearing this one to the reception-if I really dont like it I still may but I think alot of girls feel this way

Thanks girls...maybe I will go and try it on this weekend...I'm sure when I put it on again I'll be very pleased...I just need to stop myself from looking at dresses in mags and online. thanks...

i think what you are feeling is common! It will pass! And for the record, that dress is absolutelly beautfull! i mean it!

Just wear different gloves. These look like they have something funny going on on the top!

it is a beautiful dress. i agree that you should go try it on. maybe that will make you feel better. try not to stress about it. you will look beautiful no matter what you wear.

The dress is georgous. I also had a jasmine wedding dress. Once you try it on again, you will fall in love with it again!!!

OMG! I LOVE LOVE LOVE that dress! Wow...the way you made it sound, I was scared to look at the pic..lol!
I think you made a VERY nice choice! I also think it's sweet that your dad went with you to see it and he really liked it.
I am sure that once it is on you and tailored to YOUR body, and your makeup is done and you have your veil and tiara ready....and you put it all together, you will look STUNNING!
Personally, I never go clothes shopping when I think and feel like crap (not that you did when you went looking) cause then I hate the way I look in everything...but if I go out and I'm having a good hair day and I have my makeup done nice and I don't feel fat...i want to buy everything!
Look your best, try it on on a 'skinny' day when ya feel great about yourself and all will be fine!

You know, I think this is very common. I did the same thing. My mom had major influence in my dress and I was freaking out about it, but you know what? When I tried it on with the veil - I knew I made the right decision!

Go try it on again. And it IS gorgeous!

I know how you feel...I feel the same way every other day...but every time I go for my fittings I am in LOVE with my dress all over again!!!

That dress is gorgeous!!!!!!!

Girls...your support is really appreciated. I may even go in tomorrow and try it on (i have the day off) Actually, now I am finding myself excited to try it on again...maybe it was just not really thinking about it and seeing it for a while. If I go..i'll update you on what happened. Thanks again from the bottom of my heart!!!
