Long Island Engagement Announcements

Congratulations and best wishes to Melissa Scaglione and Lucas Hasen and to their families, Frankk and Rita Scaglione and Robert and Elaine Hansen. The couple from Commack, A NYPD Police officer and a Novastar Mortgage Loan Officer were engaged on September 27, 2006 in Daytona Beach Florida. We went out to dinner at 'On Top of Daytona' which was located on the 29th floor of the building. We had an amazing dinner and upon dessert, the waitress had brought our dessert to the table and when she put the dish on the table the ring was on the plate in its box w/ the dessert. I started freaking out and was soooo excited and full of soo many emotions. Luke was a little stunned b.c he thought he would have had the heads up from the waitress so that he could get everything all ready. So as I sat there amazed, Luke then put the ring on my finger and had asked for answer, of course I said Yes!! The happy couple look forward to a September 2008 celebration. We wish them all the best.
