Sending out congratulations and wishing all the best to Catie Barclay and chris Florea and to their families Joan and Dan Barclay and Mariana and Alexe Florea.
The couple, a student from Babylon and an officer in the United States Marine Corps were engaged on October 13, 2006 while dining at Tavern on the Green.
At dessert time, the Manager brought out a platter with red rose petals and 4 white rose petals with the ring in the middle. She placed it in front of me as my fiance asked me to marry him and the photographer snapped photos. Very romantic!
The two anticipate a May 2009 celebration
