The happy couple, a Social Worker from Hicksville and a Computer professional from Huntington were engaged on October 25, 2006 during a trip to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
'Robert asked me to marry him while watching the QVC channel. They were selling christmas stuff, and he asked me what to get me. So, I said an engagement ring. Then he said why wait for Christmas, when you can have it now and pulled out the box.'
The two plan a Novembr 2007 celebration.
